@TheSuicidePony You are aware that spider-man was never meant to be a sobbing dork who dances and thinks "rebel" means "being rude on the phone", right?

He's meant to be an average, slightly nerdy kid who happens to gain superpowers. Since he's a teen, he wisecracks when fighting. At no point in the sam raimi films did he wisecrack successfully, it all just came across as awkward and embarressing.
