Working on Getting good form.. Any advice? I've been practicing over head squats. Its not so much that I'm weak in them, as it is that I am not flexible in the back and shoulders and its just painful to do... Working on it!

  • I don't even know what just happened. After the pull I couldn't believe you actually got it over your head. You basically did a weird row... Not really much explosiveness. Snatch with smaller weights for a while to get used to the "catching" of the weight above your head, because you look scared to jump off the ground and pull yourself under the bar.

  • Use a little less weight its all supposed to be one motion you did good but as soon as your legs come all the way up your arms should be locked out not still pushing the weight up. But Very nice.

  • aren't you supposed to keep your elbows locked?

  • its hard to tell from the angle of the video, but maybe you should make your grip a little wider, this might help you get around your shoulders flexablity problem that you were talking about in the snatch.

  • You're bending your arms on the 2nd pull. Push your elbows out and curl your wrists.

  • You really need to drop your butt and get under the weight...and be explosive as you can through out the entire lift. Good luck
