  • @limetang Mathematics is admittedly a tremendously important tool and without it, we wouldn't have science as we know it today. That being said, mathematics is nothing more than exactly that, a mere tool for the natural sciences. Physics is the foundation of all science.

  • @eothel It is not what the general population thinks of engineers that is depicted but rather the "cold air" that exists between physicists and engineers at most universities. Almost all universities have their prejudices between schools of study.

  • In most countries engineers are considered on par with scientists. In North America some people think they're trades workers.
