why do these ranger boarded rigs drift so much when the older uniden radio's like president and cobra remained so stable especialy on ssb? do ranger use cheaper components in there radio's?

no way your getting that much wattage from 2 finals. it wont last long.

hell the rfx75 has a hard time doing that kind of wattage. must get hot.

@qball090872 ummm look at the date nov 8th 2010 do you see any complants under here???? nope dont think so different strokes for different fokes, dual mosfets, you see 35- 45 watts out of a singel final on a cobra 29 dont ya??? thats just single final, I didnt say this radio was swinging 120 watts, if you watched the video says 60 watts on am and 70-80 watts ssb peak meters not rms
