We began with the attempt to distill our own water and then use it for supercooling...but it didn't work out so you can see just the distillation and then supercooling using good ol' bottled water...

Basically the chemical principle behind supercooled water, if you take pure water and allow it to freeze undisturbed it will not have the energy or particles necessary to begin freezing and remains a liquid even below its freezing point. However, if you give it a nice slap, it will have the energy to begin nucleation and freeze rapidly as demonstrated towards the end of the video...
