aww NEVER heard this before tonight, it's an amazing piece. Wouldn't have described it as crossover, sounds classical / Art Song to me

Well Marion (thecelticspirit) isn't a hardcore musician like us so... :) But she is a big fan of DiDonato's! It is far from crossover, even if crossover is a rather large umbrella of music. It's a 20th century classical art song by Leonard Berstein, so it is still very much within the Western classical music heading as a sort of post-Romantic lied. Music technicalities aside, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
