when you dip the drosera in water, does it have to be distilled, or can it be tap or bottled?

Peat moss is basically degraded sphagnum moss, which is a beautiful green carpet moss that grows in bogs and open fields. Below the soil level, the moss forms peat moss.

That's true. Viruses don't spread between plants as readily as they do between humans.

I don't know if CP's are susceptible to viruses, but one should never share the water between two plants. If one was infected so will the other plant. I always sterilize between plants!

Plant viruses don't affect carnivorous plants the same way. In the 10+ years growing thousands of carnivorous plants at the nursery, I've never seen this to be an issue.
