  • Sometimes I hate SF4 for looking like a turtle game... While I understand why in this case, I am sure new players of the game may be turn off by such slow pace after watching this. I hope in SSF4 they make it a bit more fast pace

  • nice constant low jab frm ballrog.

    not.

  • That was well played Coopa, don't be discouraged man. Wish I coulda been there to cheer you guys on with my stupid comments :3

  • well yeah a decent counter, i still think gief vs rog is 6-4, i play rog, i usually only have trouble with gief, guile and sagat(not surprising with sagat being god). One of the best rog players in japan had trouble with gief, he lost more times than won and looked like he was fighting a losing battle.

I hope you realize that none of us are bashing you for what you said. We're just trying to shed some light on how the match up is, and that the depth of it is beyond what you can really see.

    @ Allan + Coopa

I am Adrian, I eat your babies babies

  • Actually a strong counter is considered a 7-3, for example: Sagat vs Gief is 7-3 in Sagat's favor. There's some debate over whether Gief vs Balrog is 5-5 or 6-4 in Gief's favor. The matchup isn't so one-sided that Balrog has no chance. Regardless, it's tough on both characters, as you can see.

  • knowing that gief is a strong counter against rog, rog did an excellent job with excellent strategy's...He never jumped to gief...Although maybe should have sometimes...If rog jumps to gief on wake up aiming at his head at high height, then the lariat cannot do anything, unless he got an ex bar for ex banishing hand
