ahhhh!!!!!! so cool! i actually did a report on the club kids last year in 6th grade! it was so fun! i teased my hair, wore, crazy socks, a neon tutu, a crazy graphic tee and platforms too. I even covered my face with rhinestones!!! so fun!

  • does anyone have any pics of Cynthia Haadje aka Gitsie?

  • @importantpotatochip4 yes I know him

  • @JerryS571 cool - me too I understand how bad he was - I was doing work for him and the clubs and was right there throughout much of that time. Luckily some of us made it through and "cleaned up" I miss those days terribly, and think of them daily - as crazy as they were they were really special. Disco 2000, and some of those small clubs and parties - Desi and Walts place - what a time. Peace

  • @JerryS571 thanx for leaving it! some of us love it for what it is! LoVe!

  • @JerryS571 Yeah I'm sick of people acting like they know about that shit too. You could never know unless you talked to the people and even then you probably wouldn't want to ask them. What people need to understand is that movie was made by hollywood and for legal reasons they left many details out. Now lets get on with talk about what the video is actually about, the club kids and how they left lasting effects in the new york night life.

  • Dear uploader: I'm so grateful you didn't take this video down. It's such a prized peek for me into an era I never got to be a part of and will never fully be able to imagine. I think there IS something to be honored about the spirit of 90s NYC nightlife...and remembered, through footage like this....because no club or rave scene I've experienced in recent years can really imitate or compare...
