Sam is smoking hot! I popped my flash when I saw her :)
-
I’m not a Nikon hater but the Canon shots look better...

Sam is so beautiful !

There wouldn't be a problem with a shadow on the subject with built in flash if the big ass lens hood was removed

+1 like for saying aaaabishek and india :D

The 7D is a Semi pro, not a consumer.

Great video, really informative.

Seriously, how many of the photos you are placing in the video are the ACTUAL ones you took then and there? She's smiling and then NO she looks like she's auditioning to and extra character on Twilight and then she's frowning, you take a photo and then NO she is smiling just like she is on a happy pill! Lol WTF!

You should have a read through your camera's manual and try out its examples pertaining to using Av and Tv mode, then consider how flash and exposure compensation and their respective changes in either mode would affect your scene. Flash compensation makes things lit by the flash brighter/darker, exposure compensation makes things not lit by the flash brighter/darker. Tv mode's compensations change Aperture (DoF) while Av mode's compensations change shutter speed or flash duration.
Hi Mark. Thanks for your wonderful videos! I learn a lot from you. You are a spectacular teacher (And thanks to adorama too).
I would love to have your studio lighting essentials videos, and I would gladly pay what they cost to DOWNLOAD the files. But paying that just to watch them in you tube feel a little too much for me, It is like I wont own anything for what I paid. So please could you sell them on dvd or something? Thanks!

Canon7D Consumer camera???? Are you crazy???
vestrelado 1 year ago 13
@vestrelado Yes, it's a consumer camera. It's a classification given by Canon. If you go to the Canon website you'll find the 7D under the "Consumer & Home Office" lineup. All brands have the consumer class and many of the cameras are over $3,000. Price is not the determining factor. :)

This comment has received too many negative votes show
@snapfactory As the camera it self ypu think its consumer???? Don´t have the same or better caracteristics that the sow called pro cameras? How many pro´s use it? A lot. When we wach your videos we want what you thinks about things not canon or nikon say. That´s why we wacht and subscrive your channel. But if tell me that your opinion is that tha Canon 7D its not a pro camera...ok.

@vestrelado Don't get hung up on the semantics. The NY Times recently had photos from an iPhone on the front page. An iPhone isn't a pro camera but it was used by a professional. It's not the tools that are most important, but how we use them.
