TaxMasters commercial, circa 2008, featuring Patrick Cox, TaxMasters CEO and President discussing IRS tax relief and common tax problems such as IRS audits and delinquent tax returns.

Hello, I'm Patrick Cox, founder of TaxMasters. For years now I've been telling you that if you are being audited, have several years of unfiled tax returns, or the IRS is coming to your home or place of business -- we can help. "The IRS said we owed over $50,000... TaxMasters fought hard and the auditer agreed we owed no additional taxes." We'll get between you and the IRS. We'll make sure they treat you fairly and treat you with respect. Don't wait weeks for an appointment. Our former IRS agents and tax professionals are ready to help you now. Call 1-800-581-0477. Tax Masters, we solve your tax problems.

  • I'd like to know two things. First: why is he standing sideways? My neck aches, watching him standing perpendicular to the camera, twisting his neck to speak, rather than looking directly into the camera. Maybe he thinks he looks thinner in that position.

Second: Why not use a professional? Does he think doing the commercial himself will give him rock star status? Personally, I think his "acting" earns him the status and personality of a slimey used car salesman.
