Spotting a Fake Nintendo DS game Part 1

I've had the unfortunate event of coming across a fake Nintendo DS game. The first time I have ever bought a used game and it was a fake.

Because the error occurs on the dsi when starting up the game, does the same thing happen when you start up a fake ds game on a 3ds?

@skillering, if it says the internal battery has died, i have one too. That just means the watch battery in the game has died. You can replace it but i dont want to muff up my game.

Nice video. I have a fake Pokemon Sapphire, and sometimes the game will become corrupt, and the time doesn't work (you can't grow berries). Just a heads up for anyone with a suspicious Sapphire.

damn it... i got a new Batman game and a used one from a guy well the used one was a fake... can play it but to play multyplayer they don't recognize each other grrrr... now i have to go buy a new one!! and same thing the damn sticker is crooked and the etching is rougher on the fake oh and it has a sticker on the back that says ying hong.. the box looks legit tho so didnt think anything of it till i couldnt play it together.

I got a fake pokemon ruby instead of pokemon it showed a different game that was bad but i think im the only one to get it
