please and please , do not buy the railway ticket outside the station railway, in kanchanaburi, in station the SRT have thr tourist V I P tourist train ticket only.

I have heard about the food on the train, some people have advised not to eat it. But you say its ok? I will eat it anyway as I love Thai food!

well, it all depends where You take the train.
From Bangkok to the bridge it took us 5 hours but it is an experience and I realy can advise it to You.
Returnticket cost 200 bath, that is +/- 3 dollars. (only for the FARANGS) Thai people do not need to pay for the train.
During the trip locals offer You tasty food for a few bath and cold drinks. NO need to take drinks or food with You.
