@rodolfogden He's not better than slash, yea The Edge stuff might sound good but Slash is better, have you heard the solo to November Rain or listend to Estranged? or just listened to GnR songs or other Slash songs.
-
@rodolfogden don't u dare to insult slash ! if you can't understand his music it doesn't mean that it's crap ... maybe your taste in music is crap

@mattblack196 Just to clarify, when Bono tells Edge to "play the blues" he's not confusing his technical musical genres (e.g., "Edge, please play the pentatonic minor scale in increments of 8-bars"); since the song is about people who's lives were a living hell under apartheid, he's using it a lot more like the phrase "sing the blues" (only asking The Edge to do so with his guitar).
-
@MrKickyourbutt hahaha i love that pronunciation. when i listened to this as a toddler (and had no idea what apartheid is) i just assumed it was apart-tights and that everybody in the crowd really liked them.
-
I'm a fan of these guys, but if I was there I'd say "I didn't pay to hear a history lesson, JUST PLAY THE F***ING BLUES!"
-
Apar-TIGHTS!

''am I buggin you , i dont mean to bug you,........okay Edge, play the blues!! ''
He's better than Slash because his music sounds good, and Slash's sounds crappy. It has nothing to do with wiggling fingers fast, or complexity. And if he uses technology, so what? Sounds good, bottom line.
