katherine accussed susan of stealing mike from her but she didn't even told susan when she was dating so she should be grateful that susan apologized to her. besides, it's obvious that mike and susan belong together

Yeah. Brandon's right. That's the way the show panned out. Susan gave Mike her blessing and then tried to retract it when she found out it was Katherine. Susan is far from Katherine's best friend, they're friends at best.
