In the middle of East Sea, the body of water between Japan and Korea, there is the rocky island Dokdo, 87.4km southeast from Ulleungdo. This tiny and shabby rocky island is the witness of the sad Korean History. Various wild species live in their natural state on the island And marine resources are hid under this Korean treasure island, Dokdo.

The owner of Dokdo and East Sea was Korea. But it was stolen by the Japanese during the Japanese Occupation Period(1910-1945) like Koreans had to change their own names as japanese names. Even in 21C, Japanese government still believe that they're the owner of Dokdo and East Sea. This video was produced for the people who want to know the TRUTH and true attempts of japanese government.

  • Japan was unified as a country in the early 17th or the late 16th century, and I do not see how Japanese named it as "Sea of J." However, Korea has been an unified country since 10th century, and Koreans have called it "Sea of Korea" or "East Sea" before Japanese ugly Imperialism occupied East Asia.....stop faking history, you Japanese, PLEASE!

  • Dokdo is belong to Korea

  • It's very helpful to understand this issue which is between korea and japan.

Inspite of clear as this post explaining, I can not understand that why japanese never accept it at all? their attitude is seriously problem like they never apologize to invaded asian country

  • Dokdo is a Korean island in the EAST SEA.

  • I never said that Korean society wasn't problematic. I have experienced Korean racism at it's finest. I was kicked in the ribs after being pushed to the ground. It doesn't get much worse than that, and then they take this Dokdo issue to the US and plaster up buses in NYC with it. Fuck off.

  • Ha ha ha oh why?

They should be able to ruin a whole industry over a lie and expect you to stick with them because they are Korean! lol Doesn't everybody notice that some Koreans just want to cause trouble for people from different countries? If you haven't experienced the wrath of Korean racism, you will as their power that we gave them grows.

  • True, the japanese were bad in history. But when you look on here, it is filled with Korean nationalists who make pages to attack the Japanese and tell them about all of the bad things they have done. It makes koreans look stupid. Korea caused a lot of their problems themselves because they didn't want to have contact with foreigners. If you read old accounts of contact with Koreans in the 1800s, they were complaning about Japan and the Korea is for Koreans still exists today. Blame Koreans too

  • Ha! Sh th Fu Up "Uriginaler !!"

A lot of continental cultures were spread to Japan. = Fact!

But the culture via a Korean peninsula is A LITTLE.

Backasswards, some culture of Japan was brought in to Korea in A.D.500~800.
