  • I wish I started playing the guitar at 6 rather than 56, oh well. I've followed the UWM students youtube videos for a couple of years. A seriously talented bunch of kids. Her left hand work is amazing, her timing is perfect. I'm blow away yet again.

  • I can't play a lick on the guitar, but this is good stuff, and I hope when I exit this life, I can enter guitar Heaven, so I can learn to play!!!

  • i live in new berlin 20 min away from uwm and i have been waiting for a video of anyone playing this song and here one is. awesome

  • wonderful guitar sound, very good playing obviously

  • This is amazing!

  • Excellent, Marcyn! Great dynamics (along overall musicianship). Keep it up.

  • Great job, Macyn! Last summer, I came up to Milwaukee (I live in Oklahoma) to have a private lesson with John Stropes. We had a whole conversation about you! I'm about to be a junior in high school and I've already got my plan set out for college, and I've decided I'm going to UMW to major in guitar performance (emphasis on fingerstyle). From the sound of this video, it sounds like they do fantastic work! Can't wait to hear more.

  • Yay Macyn! Can't believe I missed this one until now. You just keep getting better and better and better!!!! Danny

  • Very well done! that guitar has a great sound

  • First time I've actually seen this played, not just heard it, and on a 6-string too and it sounds beautiful. I have the sheet music for this tune from Stropes.com and I think I'm going to start learning it properly - this video really helps to see what to do. Thanks for posting.

  • Brilliant...IMO the crucial factor here is that its being played on a 6 string ...One should always learn any of Leo's 12 string numbers on a six string first before attempting on a 12 string guitar...
