  • your a wanker mate

  • on the bike than he wants to. Sub 2:40 may happen, but it depends greatly on how the bike plays out. If it's like 07 when Stadler, Faris, got sick, and all the bikers had were Torbjorn and Lieto to push, then sub 2:40 may happen. But if it is tough on the bike and Stadler, Lieto, Llanos, Terenzo, Macca all push the bike, nobody will go under 2:40. Watch out for Rutger Beke, a little more under the radar but capable of going low 2:40s.

  • Well said man. Don't get me wrong man, Crowie is a phenomenal athlete and obviously the best Marathon runner in the field. I really love the guy too and I would love to see him run against Macca. That being said, Crowie would beat Macca if they got off the bike together. I think Macca's plan may be to push the bike a little more and try to get a lead or sap some of Crowie's run-speed. It's true, Crowie may break 2:40, but I think the bikers will try to gain a lead and force Crowie to push more

  • gza2k7...when you think about it Crowie is the only one in the field who could break 2:40 in the marathon. and he has visited the wind tunnel for some aeroadvantages. so that gives him a good advantage over macca. i mean dont get me wrong macca is a excellent runner but Crowie is more effecient

  • chill out!

  • DazzaBazza76 - great call. I totally agree mate. Craig is a champion and the interview was great. Disapointing that someone would attempt to tarnish the reputation of an Aussie sporting hero. Great win Crowie - knock ém dead next year.

  • Wow, quite the response! Hows the blood pressure? Macca is a great athlete, no one is taking that away from him, and I would like to think ignorant people would not disrespect the hard work he did last year. Just like people should take Crowies win for what it was, a job well done. Lets see what happens next season...sorry, I will close my "stupid uninformed mouth" now. I am so glad there is an expert in our midst.

  • You, dumbass, dont know the bad blood between Crowie towards Macca.. They used to be mates. He is a jealous little faggot who wanted to win at any cost. Maybe if you knew what was behind the scenes, you would realize, instead of sprouting off your stupid uninformed mouth.

  • Pathetic. I am certain the last thing on Crowies mind on the day of the race was Macca. He won as a result of a LOT of hard work. You only have to look at the results over the past couple of seasons to see the best man won. Not that I want to stoop to your level, but how many Hawaiian Ironman Races has Macca raced? And what is his race history? Those in glass houses should not throw stones.... Good on you Crowie. You are a true champion.
