if you don't have a partner this is a great way to increase mobility and flexibility in the gluteal region...remember BREATH!

  • Actually it's recommended that you have 48 hours between bouts of PNF stretching.

  • How often do you perform these types of stretches? Do you find using a partner to be more effective?

  • these stretches can be done 1-2 times a day 4 times a week...muscles react to stretches the same way they react to load as in weight training in the fact that they will get used to the stretch so don't too much of a good thing haha. as for a partner, it is preferred as you get more range of motion and resistance, but this a good alternative if you are working out by yourself or don't have time...trust me you don't want just anyone performing PNF stretches on you! peace
