To most, Sarah may seem like a perfect candidate for office. But I as a gay man must confess to not appreciating her limited view point on same-sex marriage and the full inclusion of gay citizens in our country. At the time of this book signing, I was sitting in an apartment less than a mile from where she stood, jobless due to discrimination and cross-insubordination by a fellow manager.

@bucs2921 Call them socialists, since that's the word the media wants you to use to make them sound evil and crazy, but at least they are standing up for people and admitting that we should at least create a path where people can possibly succeed without being crushed or demoralized. That is liberty. On the other hand, corporations are ruling the world by having policies set up to make them even more powerful. You have no choice but what they give you - where is your freedom there?

@aflac00170 Michelle Obama loves our country too, so much that she is brave enough to be ashamed of how we run it. She knows that we have done poorly in presenting opportunities for people to step up and succeed in a world where corruption runs unchecked.

Sarah Palin, like Bush is everything that is wrong with the GOP. I was a republican for 20 years until Bush the younger. I don't recognize this party anymore. Palin is a typical anti-intellectual know-nothing who just spews empty platitudes and shows no curiosity about foreign policy. She's content being ignorant and self-righteous. What a pathetic phony.
