It's a NSW D57 Class 'Mountain' type (4-8-2) engine which was being moved from one museum to another.

What is that steam train at 00:11? honestly looks like a BR9f, evidentally not though.. What is it and where is it headed?

I think you are referring to the shot of 5711 being towed by diesels. It was on the way to the Valley Heights Museum.

i'll say this rich, from the looks of 3642. i would have to say that the NSW wanted their engines to be big and powerful.
