NSW in Steam 2008 - Volume Three sees out the steam year through the warmer spring months. Our cameras have captured some unusual steam locomotive movements and all the exciting steam action in New South Wales. 3526, 3642 & 3830 triple head. 3016, 3237 and 5917 are also featured, along with a special heritage move of 5711, 5096 and 1219.

What is that loco at 0:14

It's a NSW D57 Class 'Mountain' type (4-8-2) engine which was being moved from one museum to another.

I think you are referring to the shot of 5711 being towed by diesels. It was on the way to the Valley Heights Museum.

i'll say this rich, from the looks of 3642. i would have to say that the NSW wanted their engines to be big and powerful.
