@schnor88 The mystery was revealed "unto his holy apostles* and prophets* by the Spirit;"(not just Paul).The mystery was that we gentiles become family with Israel (spoken by God to Abraham in Gen 17v4) Ephesians 2:19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but *fellowcitizens with the saints*, and of the household of God;3:6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the *same body*,3:15 Of whom the *whole family in heaven and earth* is named, see Eph5v31&32 the 2 become 1

@zacqt God had a secret. Jesus Christ spoke from heaven, Paul's words are Jesus Christ's words TO us, gentiles. According to the mystery (unsearchable, hidden, a secret), NOT according to prophecy.
That's why Paul stresses the importance of following him, which is how we follow Jesus Christ in this current dispensation called the dispensation of the grace of God ;)
