Broken fuse is a very common reason to cause the USB drive not working. The solution is very simple: shot the fuse, that's it !

  • Hey do you know if I have to break the other thing off before shorting it? Such as in the video for sandisk micro, they tell you to break off one of the components first. My problem is I do not have a micro, it's a regular cruzer. Secondly, it does not open straight through the center. My flash drive opens all cock-eyed. I'm scared of breaking it further if I'm not completely knowledgeable about what I'm doing. Any help would be great as I have really important data on it that I need!!
