This one's good but I'm waiting for the cartoon about the drug dealer who peals a $100 off of his roll of bills to buy a twelve pack and then uses his Medicaid card to pay for the 200 Vicodin and 100 Xanex.

As a single mother on medicade. A lot of these are biased comments. Not all of us are freeloaders and losers. I have an education. I have worked. I refused cash assistance because I wanted to work. I agree that many people on welfare are freeloaders who are lazy. But not all of us.

@kristencurrent I don't think most of us have a problem helping folks who really need it and when they treat us with respect. We have a problem with folks with the entitlement attitude, like they deserve stuff for free (paid with our tax dollars) that the rest of have to work and pay for ourselves. Even worse when they can afford an iPhone 4, Coach purse and late model, expensive car. If people can do that, they need to throtlle back on the luxuries and support their own kids themselves.

I wish i could like this a million times, this happens daily. If it's not diapers its formula, condoms, lubricant, lotion, and a whole bunch of other crap.
