Andrew Wasson of Creative Guitar Studio answers questions from off of his Guitar Blog website...
Q #1). How do we combine influences from different styles of music to form new and more interesting musical concepts? Is there any advice that you have, or an approach that you take when writing, to add new styles and ideas?
- Alex, Minnesota
Q #2). I'm 14 and I am trying to learn and maximize the use of scales. I would like to ask you what approach I should take in order to be more creative. Also, I'm not sure what type or mode of scale I should use? I'm into Gospel and Rock genres. What should I learn and in what order?
- Louis
Q #3). Are the arpeggios the harmonized major scale in one position?
- Jay
Thanks for Writing in!
