I'm from Germany and I never would have thought he'd pick up some random guy from here. But I will admit he has a great voice from what is shown in this video.

Joe is a great musician. One of the greatest. But if he wants to have a band outside of Aerosmith then he needs to get a lead singer with a different sound and form a band with it's own sound and character. You can't clone Aerosmith. It then looks like a cheap imitation fit for cruise ship entertainment. (No offense please, cruise ship bands!) I don't blame him for wanting to keep working though. It's good for the soul. This kid has a good voice but it's too weird.

@StevenTylersmitten i've got trhee auto boiographies, or biographies of theirs, and I remember seeing it, I think (80 percent sure) it was in the book "Walk This Way" -- if not, maybe the one where Cyrena {sp} is talking. It's def in one I read.

Actually he doesn't look bad for his age. The guy is like old as dirt. He was born in 1950. So says the Wiki. So you know. That's like 60 years almost. And I'm sure that life on the road working your ass off, and yes sex drugs and rock and roll takes the piss out of you. But either way Joe Perry rocks!
