@ronin954 There is no such thing as kodokan black belt judo tournament. The only torunament held for people who take Judo classes from Kodokan is the Red-White Tournament held in Spring and Autumn every year, which is mainly for the Dan promotion purpose. Serious Judo students have already got to Dan level when they are in Senior High School, and they always go to universities such as Tokai (東海) and Kokushikan (国士舘) in Kanto and Tenri (天理) in Kansai.

@ronin954 How do you judge them to be San-Kyu level? As a Roku-Dan I say they are Ichi-Dan level and these two youngsters have great skills. In Judo Shiai the match finishes once an Ippon is scored, whereas in Shuaijiao the match lasts for 5 minutes no matter how many clean 'Ippon' throw you score, so the tactics are completely different.
