  • Perfect weapon !

  • For those who say that Ashihara is similar to Kyokushin obviously NEVER spar. Unlike Kyokushin, Ashihara has throwing, grabing, elbow strikes, attack from the side and back. If you ever sparred, you would know what this mean.

  • @sabakisteps

not really completely different lol. It is an offshoot and if you were going to say any two martial arts are similar than kyokushin and Ashihara are just about as close as you can get.

  • @AFENTISTHECHOSEN This is Kyokushin plus grabbing techniques, just like Enshin. Kyokushin is awesome, but I feel like this is Kyokushin plus

  • @ccthedragon both styles have no hits to the face, so no.

    regards

  • @sabakisteps We can, however, in all fairness say it is a completely different organization than Kyokushin. That would be a more accurate statement.

  • @sabakisteps Not completely different. Let's be honest that it is an offshoot of Kyokushin founded by one of it's top instructors after breaking away. True that Ashihara emphasized more of the circular movements mostly ignored by Kyokushin once tournaments made Kyokushin more world recognized. But Ashihara taught what was taught to him by Oyama Sosai.

  • THE SENSEI'S FIGHTING STYLE LOOKS SO UNIQUE. IT SEEMS LIKE THE COMBINATION OF KARATE AND SOME OF KUNGFU. VERY UNIQUE AND SO COOL-LOOKING..

  • @sabakisteps its not completely different .... but it is different, it still came from kyokushin

  • @anthonysmith73 Osu. He was a great man, years ahead of this Time. RIP Kancho.
