It's actually Old Timey Music. Traditional Southern Style.

The second tune is Cumberland Gap. One of the verses he sings is
"save up money and buy me a farm
raise sweet 'taters long as your arm." There are many other verses.
These tunes may be played by bluegrass bands, but they are pre-bluegrass, old-time fiddle tunes. (and he plays them amazingly, whatever the label)

The last and third is the standard Sally Goodin..I think the first two he may be doing variations on Sally but not sure, sounds like it....often fiddlers will change up a standard bluegrass piece by changing the key or throwing a little something else in...

This isn't country music...it's blue grass, and he's fantastic at it...better than a lot of the American blue grass fiddlers.

I love Gilles Apap. Does anybody have any videos of him playing with "The mountain Boys" I had a recording but I lost it. I saw them live and would really like to find a CD or tape of them. I went to his website a while back and could not find anything but classical.I enjoy his classical music but also really like his "country music". Thanks
