A criminal has escaped from jail and he took Anzu as a prisoner. Yugi shows his other self by using the Millennium Puzzle as he challenges the criminal to a Shadow Game in order to get Anzu back.

@MegaSparker22 He actually did against Kaiba. But that whole element seemed to be wrote out later on. I guess they wanted to differentiate Yugi from the baddies by not letting him abuse his magical powers like how they do.

Man, these writers wussed out by not having the guy ACTUALLY light himself on fire... that's what I love about the origional manga- it's cute and fun, but also has this really violent, bad-ass undertone!!
