Steve McQueen HATED acting, but he put up with it because it financed the things he LIKED to do. He'd grown up in poverty, so he vigorously pursued the part in "The Thomas Crown Affair" because it allowed him to play a wealthy person for a while. The part where he's laughing in the living room was totally improvised on his own--the director said, "Keep it in. Print it."
@mokh2o : Joan Kroc might have offered some input in that department. Some people make fun of McDonald's, but it IS a well-run company, despite its vociferous critics.
@mokh2o They did compare beauty contestants to crack dealers in the sense that they are both trying to get rich off of something very very few actually get rich for. They mainly compared it with McDonald's, but this doesn't meant hey never compared it with beauty contestants.
If you know the right people, you can make money doing it. There are a lot of people dealing grass to middle-aged suburbanites rolling in steady and damn near risk free money.
Yeah, drug dealing is not that lucrative. That's just in the movies. Nothing a job couldn't do. If you're selling drugs, you should do it as an act of civil disobediance and to illustrate how people have a right to consume narcotics. Not because you're in it for the money.

If you sell drugs the right way you can make money. Even weed. If you're an idiot you make nothing.
