I like Ina. She didn't do the cancer patient thing for EXACTLY this reason... people would be all up in arms about it if she said no. That is A LOT of pressure to put on a celebrity. You do realize LOTS OF OTHER CELEBRITIES SAY NO as well. Are they getting torn apart about it? Nooooo... She's confident about her cooking and she keeps it simple and fresh. Some people haven't the time to be at the beck and call of EVERY SICK PERSON WHO WANTS TO SEE THEM.

I just love Ina, shes gotten some bad press in the past, but you know what we should worry less about what decisions she has made and focus on what she tries to teach us in her show. I am a huge fan of the show and always will be. Ina is a very private person and one of the main things about her is that she doesnt do so much publicity like other food network stars.

First I have to say that this lunch looked wonderful, and something I will have to try with my family. As for the negative press; why is it that so many people can bring up the worst in others, but refuse to look in the mirror and see their own faults. Life is short and should be enjoyed.
