Final Fantasy VII: The Highwind Takes to the Skies - Remastered (TX2)

This song could be classified more as a rearrangement and remastering than just a simple remastering (some might even call it a remix). I put in a piano intro, added an epic choir to the climax, and just all around added a lot more to the original song.

I released this song as an MP3 with the title "A Haven in the Sky II" a while back, however on youtube, all videos will be released with the title of the original song (Remastered etc) so everyone has an easier time finding the song they want.

Wouldn't seem very practical to call this "A Haven in the Sky II."

I listened to this song and I have to say wow. The transition early in the song actually felt like the song took off and then you started flying. Unexpected and very impressive! The first time you hear it is quite fun at that part.

Oh and if I can get this mp3 for the show's final battle? I have a great idea...............trust me muahhahahhaahahahhahahaah

Yep. It is indeed supposed to symbolize the the Highwind taking off. Sure I'll give you the mp3... though my allegiance is still to OOT over this game :P.

This was EXACTLY what I was going to say lol. Very awesome remix but, at least for me, a lack of bass and (heavy) percussion. Great work though!

the is magnificent! only drawback is the lack of base however i can understand if it was intentionally left out to add to the feeling of weightlessness!

The trumpets were too quiet for some very critical parts. Also needs more drums.

All in all, you had it nailed with the slow, piano start going into the drumrolls, but you just left out way too many instruments in the main part, that originally made this song so great in the first place.
