Thorpe's freestyle stroke is not for everyone...I try to swim like he does, with his body position and kicking motion, i I found extremely difficult to mantain a good pace...One must have a very potent kick to swim efficiently like thorpe...It's not that he has the perfect technique...He has the Perfect technique for his body.

No, you are retarded. All men's suits that extend above the navel and below the knees were banned.

His technique is useful for medium distance swimming - where the rhythm of the legs and narrow water entries play a large role, not forgetting a good body rotation . IMO his technique may be vigorous for swimming the long distances 1500, open waters etc.

Exactly!!! I just wish I could find the perfect technique for me. I'll keep trying, following examples of the top world class swimmers such as thorpe. For me still the greatest freestyler, even considering the newest efficient swimmer revelation sun yang
