  • I've read that in the interest of saving fuel, several airlines have taxied on one engine

  • @peakster753 Can you blame them?

  • are the planes good for a night flight?i am having a flight at 2130.

  • @dipu94321 I'm not sure how one aircraft would be better than another for night flying, so I don't know how I can answer that.

  • see,a size of a plane matters.where we had to go,there were heavy crosswinds at night

  • @dipu94321 An airline won't schedule a different type of aircraft simply because there are crosswinds at your destination airport.

  • @hpflyboi They taxi on only one engine to conserve fuel :)

  • sometimes just one

  • They start the engines as they are pushed back from the gate.

  • i know that, i meant before takeoff.
