Alexander Springs, in the famous Ocala National Forest, Florida. The spring is a large basin about 200 ft. across and arises into Alexander Creek. Water flows from a cavernous opening near the center of the basin. The depth of the basin is about 28 feet. Water flows powerfully from a large opening on the bottom of the spring. Flow from the spring creates a large surface boil that is readily visible from the shore.
