Caulk windows to prevent drafts, to save energy, and to keep moisture from rotting the wooden window parts. This video shows the tools and step instructions you need to caulk around windows to get a clean, air-tight seal.
@freethrillsdotcom lmao I saw how hard it was to squeeze and figured that couldnt be right. then the caulk started cumming out the back. n i said thats def not right! then i saw the inner seal. but my container was clear. probably wouldnt have realized it if it was the white kind.
After cutting the end off the tube when I did it the first time, I wasted four tubes, and 2 calking guns before I realized you have to puncture the inner part of the tube. This video would have saved me that hassle. We've all done something stupid when we're just learning sigh. :)
@loveofwolfs, It looked fine, but then you come along and talk about better ways and then are vauge like a douche bag. No one cares about YOUR personal techniques. And yes that's how you spell techniques. 90% of you construction workers have the brains of rotted dog shit.
@Lilmiket1000 Everbody knows that black caulk does the job so much better than the white caulk.....LOL

@hummarstra I think the black caulk is bigger because they use the big black caulk for filling the big tight cracks!
