As a 15-year-old (girl), who's African American, and is still wondering about the many things in life, I found this truly enlightening. Marlita spoke on a topic that many people have avoided because they didn't want to seem like a racist or whatever. She brought it up with character, which made it interesting, and still held up an educated manner. Though, I still refuse to use the word, she's given me advice on how to take power away from it and I hope to keep it for the rest of my life :)
