Broadcast live at just after 8pm in the mid 80's, the end I think of live broadcasts of the Des O'connor show, and a ban by ITV of Stan I think. I don't own any of this material and all rights go to ITV

Classic!!!! Not many of this type of genuinely funny comedians about nowadays, due to politically correct whingers, and of course the sad death of Frank Carson yesterday...R.I.P. Frank.

@rhosilliboy Rubbish! It was his racist jokes that got him banned from Leeds FC and the t.v. I remember telling the Fokker joke to my mum and dad when I was 16. I am now 61. That was his other problem - old jokes and the change in public taste. Jim Davidson - about as funny as impacted wisdom teeth - suffered the same fate.
