Am doing my first ever half marathon in April then from there I intend to do the full marathon in the future. I am so excited that I train hard now knowing that I have a goal to achieve. Watching these vidoes, listening to personal experiences just makes me want to do it even more.

I did a half in 2011(my 1st) and boy that last mile I was done but managed to keep running. One day I'll do a full.

wow this this just made me cry, im not sure why but i guess its so inspirational. my first marathon is in the fall. the adrenaline and the motivation and the high is what will make me finish. i'm not even 18 yet so thats even more motivation. i now need to watch this movie!

@Melopeed :( stress fracture in my 5th metatarsal. This happened on September 8th, the previous day I ran 18 miles, my longest run to date. I was in an immobilization boot (air cast) for 4 weeks. Today I ran 3 miles on a treadmill and it hurts like hell. Time put back on the air cast and hang up the running shoes for a few months. I WILL run a marathon in the Spring of 2012 and many more after that. For now, I'm lifting weights and doing serious abs work 5x/week. Not giving up!!!

Exactly one year ago I lost a precious friend of mine, It was a terrible shock and I didn't know how to react against the pain I was feeling. One day I said "Why don't you run?" and once I've started I've realized that this would have been my way to carry on, I felt immediately better. Next spring it will be my second marathon, and I'll run not only for me, but also for who's looking at me from the sky....
