This is an interesting "Split-Screen" idea for the staging of this quartet. It gives the idea that TWO dialigues are happening at the same time. It still keeps all 4 voices together barely. I prefer a staging of this on a larger set with the duets of the quartet seperated by distance on the set. In this staging they can still get physicar read on the other singers/actors so they can keep their perfomance tight.
