James Brown did not teach MJ--MJ definitely analyzed the God Father of soul on many moves among other acts like Jackie Wilson-BUT-The electric Boogaloos (specific members) were on MJ's payroll for years!! Why? To teach him their style of dance. Pete & Taco were his main teachers. Taco personally taught MJ the side float, which brings me to my next point. MJ messed up calling it the moonwalk...its actually called the back-slide. The moonwalk is the float done in a 360 degree motion...fact.

I was pretty sure James Brown and some others that taught MJ, and i thought pretty sure he learned the moonwalk by seeing kids do it in urban community's and im a big MJ fan so yea.....poppin pete is pretty nice, i look at him to learn more boogaloo
