Hopefully this does a good job at showing the difference since I had nothing to compare with when I made my purchase.

  • hate to say... but stock was faster

  • @briankimbrell97 I still don't understand how people think a light weight flywheel has a large effect on straight line acceleration. Maybe it takes a college level physics course before people comprehend F=MA?? I thought this video would make it clear but I guess not *rolleyes* Acceleration w/ stock flywheel starts just before :37 at 4k rpm 1st gear and ends at :47 at 7k rpm 3rd gear. Light flywheel 4k rpm 1st gear at 1:24 and about 6.2k rpm 3rd gear at 1:33...maybe I'm missing something

  • hey whats up man i had my fx200 installed on my mini man it is very good i think it is extremely fast and accurate i just cant wait to pass the 500 miles braking period after that i think it will become even more fast i strongly recoment the fx500 i tested it on my brothers s2k and was extremely heavy but very responsive and accurate!!!

  • @Tonydrumm251992 To each his own, I've tried clutchmasters, competition, ACT, exedy single plates...any of them that advertise "light feel" I don't like. My favorite so far has been the ACT HD plate I had in my previous AP1

  • @Silver9k look i have driven one s2k with the act hd plate after we put on the fx500 and i havent seen any diference whatsoever. i am about to purchase an m3 e30 do you have any suggestions on the trasmition setup!!

  • @Tonydrumm251992 I wish I could help or advise you, but as much as I love E30s I don't have any experience with them...I'm just a normal enthusiast

  • If you get through the gears faster and have improved acceleration then how could it have 0 effect on 0-60 time?

  • I love minis but good god those gauges are so god damn stupid

  • Stock seems faster....

  • @Diplomatt23 what? how are they stupid at all?

  • @Silver9k it doesn't have a large affect on a small motor. put a light weight flywheel in a v8 and some huge slicks... if it catches traction, it will climb rpms faster, thus being faster. but a small motor needs the more inertia that a heavy flywheel gives off, just to get goin.. unless it has about 300 horses. in short- lightweight flywheel is best used on a high hp motor.

  • click on 0:05 and 0:56 for a quick comparison.

  • just curious but what does a mini cooper come with as far as a motor stock?

  • @Silver9k oh thats really a pitty but i will do my search (probably a sachs clutch) and i soon as i have complete it (i will make it an ultimate track day car) i will uploade it to youtube in order to check it out!!! you had an ap1 that tells a lot about your taste in cars man!!!
