@papa5212479 Uhm no cods are almost extinct because asshole fishermen take way to many. Out of any meat the fish is the most slaughtered. Being suffocated millions at a time. I mean its like drowning for us. And no, there are articles from 2010 of baby seal massacres. get your facts straight bud

@papa5212479 - hmm, not quite sure where you got your info, but it's wrong. Canadians still hunt baby seals, the only thing that changed was the age of the pups. Most are under 3 months of age. Quotas for the annual slaughter were actually RAISED per the asshole Prime Minister. The seals are losing their babies at an alarming rate due to lack of ice flows where they give birth. Knowing the pop. is already dwindling, PM still increased the quota. FYI- cod #'s are down mostly due to over-fishing.

I never understood why the Inuit didn`t form a class action lawsuit against the likes of Greenpeace who use their perception of the seal hunt as a profit center. Their actions in the 70`s literally caused some Inuit to starve - a point of fact quietly forgotten in the Ad campaigns.

Showing baby seals is very MANIPULATIVE. Canadians stopped hunting them in 1982.

And since seal hunting slowed down, the cods are now almost extinct in the gulf. All because seals started to eat the stocks AND they are now invading rivers to eat the salmons.

Those specific seals are OUT OF CONTROL.

Seal hunting is a necessity.

Why not protect fishes + lobsters and hug trees.

And some of you are ready to let their grandma rott in a sanatotium for years.

That is a real crime.
