Piper 6XT flying from Des Moines to Tulsa
Autos & Vehicles
Standard YouTube License
It has 3 cruise settings: High perf 32/2500rpm -> 24,5 USG/h - Normal cruise 29/2400 rpm -> 20,0 USG/h - Economy cruise 27/2300 rpm -> 16,5 USG/h.
With the long range cruise (25/2300 rpm) the 6XT maintain a speed of 120kts or so, and it can fly for 900NM (with 45' reserve fuel! ).
My maximum speed with this (N575WS, now T7-NWS) was 170-180 kts GS...

Nice, I flew one of those. Ferried a 6XT from Fort Lauderdale, FL to Scottsdale, AZ with 110 kts headwind. It only took me 2 days. haha.

Nice.. I fly a Cheorkee Six for a living (also Cessna's) in Northern Canada... but the one I fly was made in the 60's... lol no glass cockpit what so ever. But it will carry 1000lbs easy into and out of soft runways.
