Much better than A's pre-lotated flip. Her flip is text book and another class. She kept the slight inside edge during the jump. It's like the men.
-
WHY IS SHE SO FLIPPING AMAZING *IN AWE* she makes it looks so effortless...that's another thing that people sometimes forget.
-
such a pity for stupid assholes like xxflyingsoulxx101 commenting something that is wrong. how many times do i have to say?? go and check the damn ISU GUIDE VIDEO ON ALL JUMPS. FLIP IS SUPPOSE TO HAVE A SLIGHT EDGE LIKE YUNA NOT A DEEP EDGE LIKE MAO ASADA AND WHEN DID I MENTION LIP? WHY ARE YOU MENTIONING NAMES LIKE CAROLINA?
-
Triple flip is supposed to be slightly inedge jump wtf r u talking about?
-
@xxflyingsoulxx101 I sort of agree with you. You should definitely have a "true" inside edge on a flip take-off, but you don't really want a really deep inside edge.
-
what I love about Yuna's skating is that her jumps are all connected with transitions....some of the other skaters just jump jump jump...well it doesn't look as graceful and flowy as Yuna's programs. I think David Wilson and Yuna Kim are really well matched together!!!!

Also, what? Not having a textbook jump doesn't mean there is no way you can execute the jump without falling. Hell, Alissa Czisny is one skater from the top of my head that I've seen land lips. Have you never seen CaroZ when she used to have some of the scariest jumping technique figure skating had ever seen? Please. I suggest you don't follow these so called experts blindy, sumimimi0. They are doing you a disservice if you want to undertand how jumping mechanics work.

(cont) when doing a flip jump. Go tell that to any real figure skating expert and they'll laugh in your face. This whole textbook flip jump fabrication is friggin hilaious.
-
@sumimimi0 I don't think so. I've been following this sport for a LONG time, I've been lucky to have had significantly well informed coaches coach me in the past; and I'm pretty damn sure (from watching past great skaters - from a time when 99.9% of the top skaters in the world were required to have clear, crisp edging due to figures) that I know the difference between an inside edge from an outside edge. You completely lost me when you said having a deep, true inside edge is not ideal. (cont)
One of the greatest in figureskating history. It doesn't get better.
