@Astaroth6000 This isn't a custom battle system. This is eventing TRYING to copy the default battle system. So techincley this vid should be titled: "RPG Maker 2003 Using events to copy the default battle system".

@daviddajee100 I can't give you an answer to that, it's all about your own personal preference. IMO, they're both good depending on what game you want to make. Just try them out and see which one works best.
