I was referring to 2:16 when you said "you loose one electron it's negative one..." Loosing one electron would increase the charge of the atom,would it not? I could be wrong.

He is revering to the spot around 2:08, when you are talking about reduction, something he apparently doesn't understand.
If you lose two electrons,the charge will be 2+, not 2-
