Frank's autobiography contains an interesting passage where he admits that perhaps the Jason Lee stuff did get out of hand, expressing a tinge of regret at the genuine possibility that the player's career was seriously affected by it.
On the other hand, Lee was only too happy to pose with a real pineapple on his head, when he finally chopped that barnet off, so I think he eventually forgave them.

This show ruined Lee's career. In the same way that 'Viz magazine' ruined Shakin' Stevens pop career.
