i've never seen something like vegemite or marmite, but what is the taste? i read is made with yeast of beer, so is like chewing beer? XD

Not really, it's got a rather unique taste. Salty and sour, some people compare it to strong beef.

its sort of a cross taste of bitterness and salty (very salty)...kinda like dirt.
but dunno why, im enjoying it!

No comparison Marmite wins all day every day. Brought some Vegemite (had to try it and if it was nicer l would say so) but NO chance it has a nasty metallic taste compared to the delicious beefy taste of Marmite. MARMITE RULES OK.
